WHISPER's voluminous delta hull, with a deep centerboard, is driven by a powerful sloop rigged sail plan. WHISPER is truly a superb sailing super yacht. She offers a lovely wooden interior of the highest possible build quality and design along with powerful sailing capabilities. She has excellent views from her well designed raised pilot house/bar area. Her generous cockpit, which can seat up to 10 guests, is another well designed space for dining with its bimini sun shade. There is also a full width salon with dining area. S/Y WHISPER provides accommodation for up to 6 lucky charter guests in three large and well equipped en-suite cabins + a nanny cabin. Her full beam master has a centerline Queen bed and a steam shower in the en-suite. The guest cabin has a double bed, also with unsuited facilities. The guest with twin beds also offers en-suite with shower. There is a Single cabin for a nanny or staff.

Captain: Clive Youlten
Clive has been sailing professionally since 1981, prior to this he was in advertising and motor racing formula Ford cars in the U.K. He has circumnavigated the world, is particular to sailing yachts mostly and has an extensive knowledge of the Caribbean, Mediterranean and New England sailing areas. Clive\'s most recent charter command was Zingaro, 112\' S&S. He holds an MCA Yacht Master 3000 gt. license and is a certified scuba diver. His hobbies include golf, staying fit, kite boarding, tennis, anything active.

First Mate: Brooks Detchon
Brooks started his professional yachting career in 2001, and has worked as a captain, mate, and engineer on several sailboats. He has been working with the Whisper program for several years and joined as the full time mate in May 2014. Brooks currently holds a RYA 200 Ton Yachtmaster license and a 100 Ton US Coast Guard license. When not on the water, Brooks spends most of his time in the mountains. Several years ago, he used that experience to develop and market a new product for the ski and snowboard industry. His hobbies include surfing, skiing, hiking, and board shaping.

Engineer: Kevin Brown

Kevin has been in the yachting industry for over 15 years, working his way up from deck positions to becoming and engineer. With a strong background in sailing and a passion for \"fixing all things”, Kevin joined S/Y Whisper in 2015 and is enjoying the new challenges and experiences onboard. Having sailed on all the major oceans around the world, Kevin enjoys the busy and adventurous life of living onboard. When he\'s not on the water, Kevin enjoys playing golf and spending time snowboarding, hiking, camping and fishing in the mountains.

Chef: Laura Ahlquist

Laura’s love for the water started at a young age growing up in Long Island, where she was immersed in fishing, digging clams and boating. Her passion for cooking healthy, fresh and local foods was a gift from her grandfather, who spent Saturdays with her wandering the farms of Long Island. When the opportunity came for Laura to own and operate a charter boat in the British Virgins Islands, she jumped at the opportunity. At present, she works on various yachts and estates around the world. Today you will still find her at the local farmers markets, sourcing the freshest seasonal items to bring aboard to create a culinary experience for her guests.

Stewardess: Gail Youlten
Gail grew up in Providence, RI and spent her most of her spare time in and on the water. She left college with an Arts Degree and specialized in computer graphics. Gail’s land based career was focused on product development and end design. When she had an opportunity to combine her long time passion for sailing with worthwhile employment she happily accepted the opportunity! Gail joined Whisper in 2008 and since then has looked after her passengers with an always brilliant smile and genuine care for their wellbeing. Her hobbies and interests include all sports; skiing and tennis in particular and design, painting and work.

Mate: Wendy Rabett
Wendy grew up in the UK with a passion for sailing and has been working on yachts for almost a decade. She comes to Whisper with a long list of qualifications and certificates. Wendy is energetic, fun loving and likes to keep active. Her love for the sea and world travel is a major drive in her life.
