M/Y VIVIERAE is a spacious and elegant yacht built for luxurious and economic, long distance cruising. She has a sturdy displacement hull as well as a wide 24ft beam making her both steady in the water and extremely spacious for an 86ft yacht. Yacht VIVIERAE has a stylish interior with beautiful woodwork and neutral tones. Her main saloon is adorned in luxurious fabrics and textures. This area is the perfect place to relax and features both comfortable couches and free standing print chairs. The adjacent dining room can host up to 8 guests or a formal meal. The Galley is located just forward and of the dining area, to port and the Master suite which is full beam of the yacht is found all the way forward. The upper deck of the VIVIERAE motor yacht features a BBQ grill, more seating and a fabulous inviting Spa Pool. This top deck can be enclosed with side panels to protect from the elements.

Below deck to port is the other King Guest stateroom that has a bed that is also convertible to twins. The ensuite in this cabin has a bathtub and shower overhead plus an Entertainment center with 19“plasma TV/DVD and Surround Sound. Master cabin:
Her Master suite is on the main Deck and spans the full beam of the yacht. This cabin has separate his and her bathrooms. Captain: Gareth Schwegman

Gareth\'s keen love of the ocean and first class seamanship skills were honed in his native South Africa on family sailing excursions off the coast of Durban and Mozambique. His father\'s sailing school which specializes in mega yacht crew training also played a huge role in Gareth\'s decision to join the yachting industry and obtain his captain\'s license. Gareth’s yachting career began in 2002, doing freelance work during his yearend breaks while studying Electronic Engineering. Since then Gareth has crewed and run charter yachts throughout the Caribbean as well as Mexico, Canada, the west and east coast of the USA including Alaska and New England.

Chef: Caroline Schwegman

Caroline is from Durban South Africa. Her love for the sun and sea began at a young age and has culminated in a career in yachting. Caroline began her yachting career as a stewardess, during which time she was able to work with and learn from some of the best chef’s in the industry and it was during these early years that she developed a passion for cooking. Since then she has attended some of Americas top culinary schools honing her cooking skills to what they are today. Caroline looks forward to providing charter guests with delectable fine gourmet meals and will provide each guest with customized food preferences and the dining experiences they will remember long after the charter has ended. Her caring and professional service will make your time aboard VivieRae unique and unforgettable.

First Mate: Michael Willson

Michael’s passion for scuba diving began off the coast of Mozambique where he spent many summers discovering the untouched reefs surrounding the Archipelago. He continued to feed his appetite for diving by exploring different spots around South Africa and Thailand. His keen interest in ecology resulted in an honors degree in Environmental Science from a top South African university. After two years of working as a consultant in his field of study, Michael decided to put his love and knowledge of the ocean to more practical use by joining the yachting industry. His knowledge of the natural world and his boating background ensures a safe and memorable charter.

Stewardess: Teri Smith

Having grown up on a farm in Zimbabwe, Teri Smith spent most of her free time fresh water fishing on Lake Kariba, but her adult life brought her closer to the ocean where she discovered a love for scuba diving and the ocean in general. Her wanderlust took her to dive spots all over South Africa, Mozambique and Thailand. Teri completed a degree in Organizational Psychology after which she entered into a career in the hospitality and events industry managing high profile corporate sponsorships. Her people skills, creativity and competence in client hospitality ensure that Teri will offer a friendly and tailored service to meet your every needs.
