Captain Luis Linares

Captain Luis Linares was born and raised in Venezuela. In his younger years he successfully graduated and succeeded as an Aircraft Mechanic; developing engineering skills and demonstrating huge interest on Machinery. During his career years he discovered the yachting industry and immediately understood he found his match.
He has spent great part of his life in the exhilarating Caribbean Sea. He began his travel days as a licensed engineer on board vessels ranging from 100ft -130 ft. cruising around the Caribbean and Bahamas waters. After fourteen years as an engineer he decided to take a new challenge in the industry and became a Licensed MCA Master of Yachts. Captain Luis has mastered since then, an array of prestigious Yachts, demonstrating with his Engineering skills and clean driving how successful Yachts can be operated.
For the past 10 years, he has extensively cruised the East Coast of the United States, Bahamas, Hispaniola, Virgin, Leeward and Windward Islands. His favorite place remains the Caribbean. “After so many years I still can’t get enough of this”.
In his downtime he enjoys outdoors sports like Kayaking, fishing and scuba diving. With his professional and positive manner he will provide an enjoyable and safe adventure to all guests. He will strive to achieve successful and memorable Charters every time. Having Captain Luis on board Salacia will surely make you want to come back for another unforgettable and exiting adventure.

Tiffany Copeland

Tiffany was born in Jupiter, Florida and raised just outside of Columbus, Ohio. She moved back to South Florida to attend Florida Atlantic University where she earned her B.S. in Marine Biology.

Tiffany is a certified lifeguard and rescue diver. She began her career by with BP in the Gulf of Mexico working on the oil spill. After which, she became a camp counselor in the Florida Keys where she taught marine biology to students in and on the water. After that summer, she needed to stay on the water, so she became a kayak and paddle board instructor and tour guide. For the past two years she has worked on numerous 200 – 300 foot dredge boats as an independently contracted marine biologist.

Last winter, she discovered yachting and is loving how fun and challenging it is! You will enjoy her witty banter and fun personality while aboard Salacia. She holds certifications in STCW \'95, Power Boat Level 2, and Security Awareness. She plans to take her Yacht master course soon and become a mate.
In her spare time, she enjoys paddle boarding, snorkeling, diving, traveling and volunteering with FWC to rescue whales and manatees.

Lior Beser - 1st Mate

Lior was born in Israel and then moved to Belgium. He started working in scuba diving at an early age, and now his passion for the ocean is contagious. He began to travel the world and has experienced many different cultures. He now is fluent in English, French, Dutch, Hebrew and is proficient in Spanish.

He has been a scuba dive instructor for over 20 years, and a scuba course instructor since 2007. A few years later, he became a dive instructor on board a 440\' mega yacht and discovered his love for yachting.

He has certifications in STCW \'95, Security Awareness, 200 ton Yacht master and Advanced Medical Training.
In his spare time, he is an avid motorcyclist, kite boarder and any sport that gets his heart pounding!
