MUSA is a 36m AB Yachts which was built using aircraft technology. It has a total of three engines propelled by triple waterjets that minimize vibrations and bestow to MUSA's cruising a kind of flying by plane feeling.
The all Italian crew never fails to deliver a great travel, fun and culinary experience!

The Owner is commercially minded and will review any reasonable offer for charters of more than one week.

MUSA is based in Poltu Quatu (Sardinia), just a 3km drive or a 5nm cruise from Porto Cervo. The all-Italian crew is very experienced of the Costa Smeralda in Sardina, Corsica and the Amalfi coast.

MUSA is an AB Yachts 116, a contemporary open yacht offering breathtaking performance thanks to its high-tech construction, high-horsepower engine installations and water jet drives.

 

The AB 116 open styled, motor yacht Musa was built by AB Yachts in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 2009. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Marco Arnaboldi. The yacht's interior has been designed by Guido de Groot Design.

 

Accomodation
Musa offers accommodation for up to 9 guests comprising 1 owner cabin, 2 VIP cabins, 1 twin cabin, 1 single cabin, all with ensuite heads. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

 

Performance
Powered by 3 MTU (16V2000 M93) 2.400HP diesel engines and propelled by her triple waterjets Motor yacht Musa is capable of a top speed of 47+ knots, and comfortably cruises at an exhilarating 40 knots. With her 15,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 600 nautical miles at 40 knots. Her water tanks store around 3.000 litres of fresh water.

Crew profile:
Captain Valerio Fanciulli was born in 1971 and raised in southern Tuscany (Porto Santo Stefano, Italy).
Since he was young he always felt a passion for the world of boating and therefore decided he wanted to work with yachts.
After graduating at the nautical school, Valerio started working on commercial vessels and he worked all his way up to get his Captain’s licence.
For 20 years he has cruised on all types and sizes of yachts with the rank of captain, sailing around the Mediterranean getting a great knowledge and experience of seamanship.
Valerio has spent the past 6 years in the role of captain on board the 36-meter motor yacht MUSA, with the propulsion of three jets.
Captain Valerio speaks English at a working level and basic Spanish.

Chef Anna Maria Ciccoleri was born in 1971, in Wynberg (South Africa). However, she has lived in Italy since 1975. Anna Maria, gained her diploma in 1989 at the Istituto Magistrale in Rome and later moved to Nettuno to work for a sea resort south of Rome, as receptionist.
She started her professional experience in the maritime sector in 2002, carrying out various roles (cook, mate, stewardess). She obtained her sailing and motor-boat licence (with no limitation).
In the last 15 years Anna Maria has worked onboard of private and charter motor yachts (a Pershing 88, a Technema 70, an Alalunga 78 and the AB116, MUSA) building up a rather relevant sea-going experience. She is always happy to meet the guests’ requirements and to make their stay on board as pleasant as possible.
Anna Maria has a long cooking experience, in the traditional Italian cuisine, but also vegetarian, vegan and ethnic.
Anna Maria is mother tongue Italian but masters English as well.

Stewardess Camilla Fiori was born in 1986 in Trento, in the north of Italy, but at the age of 4 her family moved to Sardinia where she grew.
Camilla gained her diploma in 2006 at the Scientific Lyceum of Sassari. She then started the Architecture course at the university, while she was working as bartender.
For the next 6 years she kept working in the hospitality industry and she gained experience in customer service carrying out various roles behind the bar and also working sometimes as cook.
In 2017 she worked onboard of MUSA as her first experience as stewardess. She loved making the guests comfortable and taking care of their needs and the rest of the crew really appreciated her enthusiasm. So, she was reconfirmed for the second season!
Camilla is mother tongue Italian but also speaks fluent English and Spanish.

Engineer Simone Miliani was born in Santo Stefano (Italy) in 1977.
After finishing his Diploma inNautical Studies, he was employed as engine cadet on several tankers.
After a couple of years, he started his career onboard luxury yachts as engineer.
From 2009, he embarked seasonally onboard of motor yachts dedicated to charter as skipper.
In his spare time, Simone constantly keeps updating his technical knowledge of engines and mechanical equipment, both by studying and by taking professional courses.
Simone speaks Italian, and English at a working level.

Deckhand/Mate Alessandro Miliani was born in November 1977 in Porto Santo Stefano, the Tuscany seaside.
After graduating from the nautical school, he made his first experience in a mechanical workshop of Porto Santo Stefano.
Since he was 16 years old, he has been working on all types and sizes of yachts, in the role of Mate, Deckhand or second engineer. Alessandro has been cruising around the Mediterranean Sea, especially in the Sardinia and Sicily areas.
In the past 13 years he has worked as a Mate and second engineer on a 27m and a 36m motor yacht, always with the same owner. During the last few years he has got a more experience of surface propellers and jet propulsion.
Alessandro has excellent organizational skills arising from experience, the skills acquired over the years and a good altogether vision. He believes that organization is fundamental to both the job efficiency and for personal satisfaction.
Alessandro speaks good, conversational English.
