Originally launched at Vitters in 2009, G2 was fully relaunched by Pendennis in 2018 with new light-filled contemporary interiors by Nauta Design and new exteriors by Tripp Design Naval Architecture. Jason Geale – Captain, New Zealander
Captain Jason Geale joins G2 with 14 years’ experience in the yachting industry, including 8 years onboard in senior positions on 28-40m sailing yachts. Highly qualified, knowledgeable, reliable and hardworking, Jason works to create an enjoyable experience for all guests while maintaining a safe environment onboard. A passionate sailor since the age of 12, Jason grew up in New Zealand sailing on the family yacht. Jason has gained national titles and eventually competing at the highest international level in the laser class. He has raced and cruised extensively on super yachts in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Pacific and Asia. His passion lies with anything nautical but he also enjoys cycling, snowboarding and trekking recently successfully summited Mount Blanc.

Tom Ashmore – 1st Mate, British
First mate Tom Ashmore originates from the east coast of the UK where he grew up sailing dinghies and classic fishermans’ boats in and out of the creeks and rivers. He competed all the way up to national level, being selected twice for the Optimist East Zone Squad. He started yachting in 2012 and since then has logged around 40,000 sea miles on both sides of the Atlantic including nine transatlantic crossings, and recently achieved his Yachtmaster Ocean qualification. Prior to joining G2 Tom worked with engineer Jerry aboard a highly successful participant on the superyacht racing circuit.
When not sailing Tom enjoys any activity in and around the water including wakeboarding, kitesurfing, paddleboarding and fishing.
Off the water Tom is an avid mountain biker and relishes the great outdoors.

Cindy Gallant – Chief Stewardess, Canadian
Cindy joins S/Y G2 from a small island on Canada’s east coast, where she learned to appreciate the intricate natural beauty of both the soil and the sea. She has an adventurous spirit and is always seeking new challenges to develop and enhance her experience and skills, both on and off the boat. Cindy has been in the industry for nearly 5 years, and has worked on a diverse range of different yachts, from small classic sailboats to large motor yachts. She prides herself in her adaptability to different fields of work and the ability to find a connection with everyone. With a background of farming, landscaping, bioscience and over 12 years in hospitality, Cindy brings with her a strong work ethic, the enthusiasm for great adventure, and the determination to have every one of her guests leave a memorable trip feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Her professionalism, warmth, and commitment to guest satisfaction is genuinely felt by each and every one on board, and her bubbly, approachable nature and sunny disposition has anyone instantly feeling at home.
Whether she’s living in a jungle in Central America or crossing the oceans, you can find Cindy practicing yoga and inspiring those around her to lead a healthy, active, and more humble lifestyle.

Jerry Ibberson – Engineer, British
Jerry has served as engineer on superyachts since 2013 before which he founded and ran a successful electrical contracting company.
Prior to joining G2 he worked on one of the regular winners on the superyacht racing circuit. Additionally, Jerry brings a wealth of sailing experience to G2, successfully competing numerous international regattas in both racing yachts and high performance sailing dinghies.
Away from work, whenever possible Jerry sails competitively and is learning to Kiteboard. He enjoys running, cycling regularly and also enjoys traditional singing.

Marie Kreibich - Chef, German
Originally from Germany, Marie trained at a health and nutrition school and gained her hotel industry qualifications in 2010. Since then, she has worked in hospitality around the world. While living on the west coast of Australia, she discovered a passion for sailing and life on the ocean, and in 2015 she began her yachting career, sailing the islands of the Bahamas and Mexico. Passionate about healthy food, Marie has made her hobby into her profession, taking cooking classes around the world and becoming a vegan nutritionist.
Taking pride in producing the best possible dishes, using the freshest and organic ingredients, she is also a supporter of local farmers and businesses whenever possible. Marie feels privileged to work in a paradise setting, and looks forward to creating unforgettable culinary cruising experiences for guests onboard S/Y G2. When she is not sailing, Marie enjoys outdoor activities including biking, inline skating and snowboarding.
