74m Nobiskrug - 2012 - MOGAMBO ist ein 74m Superyacht mit geräumigen Decks und Interieurs mit einem hellen und modernen Stil. Sie hat große deckenhohe Fenster, die ein gutes Tageslicht innen bringen. Ihre Master-Suite auf dem Hauptdeck befindet sich ein Büro und einen privaten Balkon. Sie verfügt über sehr spezielle Annehmlichkeiten wie Außen-Kino-Betrachtung und Indoor-Fitnessraum auf Sonnendeck, Haar / Beauty-Salon, Massageraum und Dampfbad im Beach Club, plus ein Aufzug. Philip Walsh

Philip has maintained a high level of safety and security as a professional Captain in the yachting industry for over thirty years.
Growing up in Sydney with its beautiful harbour and surrounding beaches kept him on the water at every opportunity. Since the early 80’s he has operated both private and charter vessels worldwide including many seasons in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, South Pacific to the Arctic and, over the years, has gained exceptional knowledge of many beautiful anchorages and destinations.

Ben was raised in the south of France and London. From a young age, he was always fascinated with travelling. Having been given the opportunity to work on board a yacht during the summers in his late teens, he decided to pursue a career in yachting once completing is BSc (honours) degree in Maritime Studies. He has spent the last 12 years cruising the oceans of the world or travelling extensively – by land - across a wide range of continents. Ben gained his Master’s Certificate of Competence in 2014. Ben also enjoys the outdoors, new adventures, hiking, reading and all sports.

Katherine Miller
Catherine grew up in New Zealand where her life revolved around the ocean, horses and the outdoors. After spending three years in a corporate job in Sydney, she followed her instincts and love of the ocean which lead her to a career in yachting. She has crossed many oceans and seen many continents during her career and is extremely passionate about providing quality service and a next level experience for her guests. Katherine spends her spare time snowboarding, travelling and keeping fit!

Beverley Walsh
Bev is from Australia and for many years has worked alongside her husband Captain Philip on both private and charter vessels. Together they have cruised most areas of the world including the Pacific and Indian Oceans, the Mediterranean and the High Arctic North and South America and the Caribbean. She is on board to ensure that all guests receive the highest level of service and hospitality. In her spare time she likes to paint and savour the atmosphere of new places.

Brennan Dates
Brennan has been cooking professionally since the age of sixteen when he won a scholarship to one of the most prestigious culinary school in America. As he has he travelled and gained more and more varied cooking experiences over the past 20 years he has developed a deep seeded love for all facets of the culinary world, from street food to 3 Michelin starred restaurants. Besides cooking, Brennan has ridden his motorcycle from Miami to the tip of South America and back to raise money and awareness for Parkinson’s disease.

Robin started his yachting career in 2013. Growing up within a creative family in Birmingham, he discovered his passion for cooking.
When Robin is not creating beautiful dishes, he enjoys cycling, swimming and exploring new parts of the world.

Stephanie was born and raised in Montreal, the French speaking part of Canada. She has worked on yachts now for over a year, and has gained valuable experience in hospitality and event planning. Steph is in the process of obtaining her Bachelor degree in Marketing and has only one year to go before graduation. She has travelled extensively throughout Europe, Thailand, Costa Rica, South Africa, USA and the Caribbean. She plans to obtain a PADI diving qualification and master the art of kitesurfing.

Erin was born and raised in Australia, spending most of her life in the outback enjoying quality time with her family, fishing and camping. She then moved to the Gold Coast where she spent 6 years working in radio & television. Erin left the corporate world almost 2 years ago to pursue a career in yachting where she is very passionate about providing the highest level of service for her guests. She loves travelling, keeping fit & being close to the ocean.

Jo started her yachting career in 2013. With her beauty qualifications and service background, combined with a sense of adventure, she has found yachting to be a perfect mix. When she is not onboard, she enjoys spending her time scuba diving, playing tennis and hiking.

Tanja Borjanic
Tanja grew up in a quiet town in Croatia playing guitar, handball and being involved in different sorts of outdoors activities. She holds a B.A. degree from University of Applied Health Studies in Zagreb. Before starting a career as a stewardess she was working as a baby and children neurodevelopment therapist. Her love for traveling, sea and hospitality brought her into the yachting environment. She fell in love with life on the sea and has never looked back.

Stephen Boylan
Stephen spent the first 8 years of his life in the UK before his family moved to Napier, New Zealand. He completed his first two years on board smaller motor yachts before joining us here on Mogambo 3 years ago and is now working towards his Officer of the Watch ticket. Stephen has a strong passion for personal training and nutrition and is always happy to offer his advice and expertise. He has a love for water sports, enjoys wakeboarding, surfing and diving and is always keen to try new pursuits.

Brett Webber
Brett was born in the small town of Timboon in Australia. After completing a degree in physics with honours, he sought a more exciting career. Inspired by his love of the ocean he chose yachting. Having learnt his trade on a smaller vessel for 2 years, he took some time off to travel and surf his way through Latin America before returning to yachting and joining Mogambo. Brett\'s personal interests include surfing, music, playing guitar, Australian Rules football and cricket. Brett is also working towards his Officer of the Watch Certificate of Competency.

Carl Barnard
Carl hails from South Africa and during his school years, he was an aspiring surfer. His love for legislation lured him into studying for a degree in law. Carl was introduced to the yachting profession in 2015 by a friend and believes that yachting will be his new found career. He is currently in the process of obtaining his Yachtmaster Certificate.

Shay Bryant
Shay grew up in the surf city of Gisborne, New Zealand. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geography andworked professionally in this field for some years. With the ocean being a formative partof his character he, almost inevitably, made the change to yachting. Having completed three seasons on other vessels, he is new to Mogambo and is looking forward to the season ahead. A background in boating, water sports and an affinity with the sea form the foundation of his interests; with travel, culture, politics and history filling in the gaps.

Angus Kirkwood
Angus is also from New Zealand. He gained a degree in both geography and marketing before moving overseas to pursue a career in yachting. This will be his third season, having spent most of his time in the Mediterranean. His main passions include rugby, surfing, fishing and keeping fit.

Ben is from the United Kingdom and joins Mogambo for his first season in the yachting world though he hopes to turn this into a career. Growing up in rural England, Ben has always had a passion for outdoor pursuits, on both land and sea with a real love for fishing and all things equine.

John Lewis
Our Information Technology Officer John has been working with Mogambo since June 2012. He brings his vast experience of AV and IT systems to Mogambo which ensures the smooth running of all our technology on board.
Outside of yachting John enjoys music, whether it be playing, writing or recording. He is also a proud, lifelong supporter of the City of Hull, Yorkshire.

Lars Klinkby
After travelling extensively abroad straight out of school Lars felt it was time to go back to study in Denmark. Three years later he found himself on commercial ships on voyages up Chinese rivers, crossing the Great Lakes hauling sugar bags from Brazil and bananas from South America to Japan. After a stint on prawn trawlers in the North Atlantic he joined his first yacht, over 10 years ago. Lars keeps the machinery department ship shape and Bristol fashion, ensuring the guests enjoy a smooth trouble free sail. All outdoor activities especially cycling, keeps him happy in his off time.

David Brown
David is from Cumbria, UK. He started life at sea in the Merchant Navy at the age of 16, transferring to yachting in 2011. He likes to travel which allows him to sightsee and experience new places and cultures. When not working, David can be found back in the UK with his wife and two young boys who ensure he is always kept busy. He still continues with his passion for travel when at home as he and his family are often out and about on adventures. When not playing with the children David enjoys football, squash and golf.

Second Engineer 1
Piotr Buksakowski
Piotr was born in Poland and obtained a Master’s degree in engineering.
After a spell in the Merchant Navy he also transitioned to yachts where he spent several years based out of Palma Majorca, before joining Mogambo in 2013. When on leave Piotr enjoys time with his young family hiking, swimming, fishing and bike riding in his native Poland.

Second Engineer 2
David Pears
David is also from Cumbria, UK. Having obtained a degree in Business Studies he started a life at sea in the Merchant Navy at the age of 23. Mogambo will be his first time on yachts and he looks forward to the challenge ahead. He likes to visit new places and experience different cultures and meeting people. When not working, David can be found back in the UK with his girlfriend renovating an old home.
David’s other interests include playing golf and hiking in the Lake District.
