Crewprofil Lagoon

Ryan Spence (So. African)
Maroussia Gust (French)
Total crew of 3, Captain, Chef and Stewardess.

Ryan and Maroussias’ life has been driven by the curiosity of discovering the world. They both share the same story of starting working in an office before realizing that their heart was somewhere else; on the sea. This took them both to the British Virgin Islands, were they met and since then continued their life together. In the British Virgin Islands, they also met Laura, who caught their attention instantly. The three of them quickly bonded and naturally formed a perfectly balanced trio. Being from two different continents provides them with a deep understanding of the cultural differences among the world and the importance of adapting themselves to their guests’ way of living. Along with this, they share the same value of service excellence and will always provide their guests on board London Sky with an unforgettable experience.

Captain Ryan was born in Johannesburg and spent his holidays as a child on the South African coast admiring the infinite ocean. After finishing his studies and working three years as sales representative, he bravely decided to change his life and to get his yacht master. Since then, he has been sailing and chartering as a captain on yachts in the BVI, St Maarten, Antigua, Belize and many more Caribbean islands. The sea is his true passion, which is why along with being the captain of London Sky he is also a PADI certified dive instructor. He loves any outdoor activities and will happily take you diving, snorkelling, wakeboarding and trying anything else you might be interested in. His peaceful temper and safety-oriented mind set will give you all the space you need to enjoy your holidays.

Chef Maroussia was born in Martinique and has been both cooking and sailing all her life. She spent her childhood traveling around the world, sailing in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and the Pacific. After having attended university and graduating with a master degree in international strategy, she realized her true wish was to be a chef on a yacht. She earned her culinary skills from her family, her travels and the culinary classes she attended in L’atelier des Chefs of Paris and the Ashburton cookery school of London. Her cuisine reflects her research of excellence, her curiosity towards the world and of course, her French touch! As she cares extremely for others she will always adapt her menu to your preferences and make sure to master your expectations.

PLUS steward or stewardess.
