<b>Kurzbeschreibung</b><br />The cruising motoryacht “SANDVIG” was originally built and designed to the high standards of the danish navy as a minesweeper. This explains not only her integral wood - construction, but also the reliability and endurance of her non-magnetic equipment. She belongs to a relatively short series of 18 sister ships conceived to serve in the brave north Atlantic waters. If one were to stress a feature, the different woods of her construction would forcibly stand out.

 

Massive Burmese teak for her decks, delicate tropical hardwoods in her interiors, a feather-light cedar from Lebanon for her skin and, last but not least, the curvy American oak of her 99 frames.

 

At a later date the SANDVIG was dismissed of her navy days and sold to a neighbouring scot enterprise, only to be handed over to a” flying dutchman” who only succeeded in dumping her, ill and worn out, in the idyllic waters of the San Antonio bay in Ibiza. Here, her new owners found her and set about the rehabilitation of such a noble demoiselle.

 

After three long years of reconstruction work and endless nights of doubtful dreaming, the hardships and monies laid on the table proved their worth and the SANDVIG proudly renewed her sailings. It was the winter of 1993 and after some logical adjustments the summer of 1994 saw the first charter contract, a very much welcome club med three-day company incentive meeting on and about the translucid waters of Ibiza and Formentera.

 

Ever since, the SANDVIG has performed a dashing flawless record of longer and shorter cruises in the western Mediterranean and Iberian Atlantic waters, waiting on the needs and pleasures of all kind of distinguished guests that have enjoyed relaxed 10 knot sailing, an informal on-board atmosphere and a sober Mediterranean first quality cuisine. Never has she missed an appointment, never has she let anyone down and never have her mechanical interiors failed!

1. Spring and Summer Charter Twelve guest maximum. Available for week-ends, weeks or longer periods.

 

2. Company entertaining. Ship at harbour: maximun of 100 cocktail guest. 70 buffet guest and 50 formal dinner guest. Ship sailing: maximum of 12 overnight guest and 50 daycharter guest

 

3. Winter charter program: Ebro delta cruise and Port Aventura cruise

 

4. Self and yachting week-long golf tour and cruise around the Balearios or Mainland Spain .

 

5. Port of Barcelona tour and brunch, lunch or dinner for groups between 10 and 50 persons. Available October to June.

 

6. Day cruises, including lunch, around Barcelona to Sitges, Arenys de Mar or Salou.

 

7. Company presentations, simposia, marketing and sales meeting, brain-storming and incentives.

Half Day: 3.000 €/day

Daily Rate: 2.500 €/day

 

- Included in the above charter rate are the following; The yacht with crew of Captain and sailor and ship’s insurance.

Half Day: 1.800 €/day

 

- Included in the above half day charter rate are the following; The yacht charter during half day (4 hours) with crew of Captain, and sailor and ship’s insurance.

B) CHARTER RATES:

(Max. Capacity: 12 guests + 6 Crew)

Charter Rate (July and August) : 22.500 €/week

Charter Rate (the rest of the year) : 19.500 €/week

 

Embarkation at 18:00 p.m.– Disembarkation at 12:00 p.m

Included in the above charter rates are the following; The charter of the yacht during 8 days / 7 nights with crew of Captain, Mechanic, cheff and 2 sailors and obligatory insurances.

The rate does not include the 16% Vat, fuel consumption, marina's fees, food & berberages ad any other extras.
